All committees consist of a chair and committee members. In addition, the sitting President and the Executive Director are ex officio members of each committee. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.

Awards & Scholarship Committee

In November 1998, PMANC established a scholarship fund for family members of PMANC members, to be awarded, funding permitting, at the discretion of the PMANC Board of Directors. The Awards and Scholarship Committee is charged with collecting, reviewing, and recommending scholarship applications. The PMANC Board of Directors makes the final decision on Scholarship recipients. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.

Legislation Committee

The PMANC Legislative Committee monitors legislation of possible impact to PMANC and its members at the local, state, and national levels. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.

Membership Committee

The PMANC Membership Committee is charged with overall membership recruitment and retention strategies. The Membership Committee works in conjunction with administrative staff to ensure delivery of benefits to PMANC members. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.

Newsletter Committee

The PMANC Newsletter Committee is responsible for soliciting and editing information for inclusion in the bi-monthly newsletter publication. Once collected, staff prepares the newsletter for publication and the committee reviews prior to the newsletter being published. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee is charged with soliciting and recommending speakers for PMANC educational events. Such recommendations must be aligned with PMANC’s annual budget. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.

Showcase Committee

The PMANC Showcase Committee is charged with the overall organization and implementation of PMANC’s signature event, the PMANC Showcase. The Showcase Committee works in conjunction with administrative staff to produce each annual event. The Chair of the committee reports regularly to the PMANC Board of Directors.
