Monterey is conveniently located on the central coast of California and is accessible by car, train, boat, and plane.  Visit See Monterey for complete travel information.  Monterey is serviced by two airports.  The Monterey Peninsula Airport, has short and hassle-free security lines, and is located just 10 minutes door-to-door from downtown Monterey.  The Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) is located 60 minutes from downtown Monterey.  Car rentals are available at the San Jose Airport.

Lodging PMANC has negotiated a contract with the Portola Hotel and Spa for sleeping room rates and amenities you won’t find anywhere else – not even on those discount hotel sites! Single occupancy rate is 205.00 per night. Double occupancy rate is 225.00 per night..   Rates are subject to prevaling taxes and state and local assessments in effect at the time of arrival/departure.  There is a $20.00 charge for each additional person over double occupancy, per room, per night.  There is an additional charge fee per night for a rollaway.,

Rate includes:

• Complimentary daily breakfast buffet at Jacks Restaurant (hotel provides vouchers at check-in)
• Complimentary daily guestroom internet (maximum two connections per room/double occupancy)
• Complimentary self-parking with ‘in’ and ‘out’ privileges per 24 hour stay (maximum two cars per room/double occupancy)

That’s at least $70.00 less than the hotel’s web-advertised rates and includes additional value of at least $50.00 in breakfasts, parking, and internet access.

Rates will be honored three days pre and post our event dates, based on availability.

Hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM.  Every effort will be made by the hotel to accommodate guests arriving prior to check-in time.

PMANC Room Cutoff Date is Monday, April 22, 2013 so be sure to reserve your room well in advance of that date.  Reservations made after the group cutoff date are subject to room availability at prevailing rates.

Guarantee/Cancellation Policy:  All reservations must be guaranteed by a deposit equivalent to one night's room and tax, or guarantee of same by a major credit card.  No room cancellation fee will be charged for reservatrions cancelled forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival.  If reservations are NOT cancelled prior to forty-eight (48) hours in advance, a "no-show" fee equivalent to one night's room rent will be assessed.
