A bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work. Ask any golfer and they'll tell you that's fact. It doesn't matter if you are a handicapped player or just learning to play – participating in a PMANC golf tournament is a must attend event.
Now entering PMANC's 4th year of golf tournaments, PMANC is pairing the tournament with Showcase to give players a chance to enjoy the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. We'll chose a course that is affordable and challenging, but not so challenging that fun golfers won't have a good time.
Our 2012 Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Del Monte Golf Course, 1300 Sylvan Road, Monterey, California. Del Monte is the oldest course in continuous operation west of the Mississippi has challenged golfers for more than 100 years! Del Monte features wide tree-lined fairways and the back nine includes a ‘treacherous par-5, 13th hole. Take the hole-by-hole course tour by clicking here. Entry fee is $125.00 per player and includes green fees, cart and a boxed lunch. Shotgun start is at 12:30 PM. Once the tournament is finished, we will head back to the Portola Hotel and Spa for a reception and golf awards. The reception will end around 7:00 PM to allow folks to enjoy dinner with friends, peers, clients, and family. If you're an exhibitor, remember not to party too hardy as exhibitor move-in begins on Friday at 7:00 AM.

2012 Golf Tournament Rules
Have fun!
Four Player Team: Team members will all tee off. The team chooses the shot they prefer to use. The team then plays their next shot from within one club length of that position, no closer to the hole, with no improvement of lie.
Players must play their next shot from the same cut of grass that the play ball came to rest in. Even if the ball is close to the fairway but in the rough, the next shot must be played from the rough.
If the ball rests in a hazard, all must play from (not out) of the hazard.
On the putting surface, all balls must be played within six inches of the ball’s position, no closer to the hole.
Each player must contribute two drives.
Threesomes: If during a four-man scramble your team is a threesome, each player will take turns hitting two balls per hole. For example, on hole #1, player A hits two balls the entire hole. On hole #2, player B hits two balls. On hole #3, player C hits two balls. On hole #4, player A hits two balls and you repeat the cycle.
Each player must contribute three drives.
Closest to the Hole Awards: The ball must be resting on the putting surface to be considered. Only the first shot on the hole by each player will be considered for an award. The ball eligible for an award need not be used by the team as their team ball.
At the end of the round, turn your scorecard prior for departing to the Portola Hotel and Spa.
Post tournament reception with awards ceremony at the Portola Hotel and Spa beginning at 6:00 PM.
